About Global Synergizers Group:

Global Synergizers Group is a diverse, mission-driven organization with three distinct entities: Socion Impact (impact consultancy), Shuddha Space (agribusiness), and Impactium (impact investment firm). Each entity has its unique needs and operations, contributing to social impact and sustainable growth across various sectors. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial processes across these three businesses, ensuring smooth operations, legal compliance, and financial accuracy. You will be reporting to Director – Strategic Partnerships and Finance.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Invoicing: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all three entities, ensuring all transactions are properly documented. Process invoicing, ensure timely billing, and manage accounts receivable and payable.

  • Legal and Compliance Coordination: Work closely with external teams, including Chartered Accountants (CA) and Company Secretaries (CS), for all legal compliances, including GST and TDS filings.

  • Banking and Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and expense tracking. Provide necessary reports for internal and external audits.

  • Payroll and Reimbursements: Coordinate with HR for payroll processing and manage petty cash and employee reimbursements with proper documentation.

  • Software Management: Use Zoho accounting software for daily transactions, invoicing, and financial reporting. If not already familiar with Zoho, the candidate should demonstrate a willingness and ability to quickly learn and utilize it effectively.

  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, legal requirements, and internal company policies across all entities.


Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software ๐Ÿ’ป: Strong experience using Zoho accounting software or other similar accounting platforms. Ability to quickly adapt to new software is essential.

  • Understanding of Taxation and Compliance ๐Ÿงพ: Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations. Previous experience with legal and tax compliance processes is highly valued.

  • Attention to Detail ๐Ÿ”: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting entries, reconciliations, and reports.

  • Communication and Coordination ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿค: Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners (CA, CS).

  • Organizational Skills ๐Ÿ“‚โฑ๏ธ: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities across different entities, and meet deadlines independently.

  • Self-Driven ๐Ÿš€: As a one-person team, the candidate should be proactive, highly organized, and capable of handling tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience ๐Ÿ“˜: At least 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-business or diverse environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Previous experience with Zoho accounting software or similar tools is preferred.
